Common Inquiries

Fencing questions answered

The questions we are asked most often about our fencing work, from preparation through to finish.

Still have questions?

Our expert team is ready to help guide your project.

What types of fencing do you install?
Closeboard and feather edge, lap panel, picket, post and rail, contemporary slatted and composite fencing, plus trellis and privacy screens.
Do you install gates as well?
Yes. Timber and metal gates, side gates, double driveway gates and matching hardware, all hung on posts set in concrete.
Do you remove and dispose of the old fence?
Yes. Old panels, posts and concrete spurs are taken out and removed from site as part of the works.
Can you fence on sloping or uneven ground?
We can. We either step the fence or rake the panels to follow the ground, and we use gravel boards to keep timber clear of soil.
How long will a new fence last?
Pressure-treated closeboard fencing on concrete posts typically lasts 15-20 years. We recommend concrete posts and gravel boards for the longest life.
How quickly can fencing be installed?
Most domestic fence runs are completed in one to two days, and we can usually attend storm damage or urgent replacements quickly.
