Common Inquiries

Irrigation & Architectural Lighting questions answered

The questions we are asked most often about our irrigation & architectural lighting work, from preparation through to finish.

Still have questions?

Our expert team is ready to help guide your project.

What irrigation systems do you install?
Automatic pop-up sprinkler systems for lawns, drip lines for borders and planters, and zoned controllers with rain or moisture sensors.
Can irrigation be added to an existing garden?
Yes. Pipework is installed with narrow trenching or a mole plough so lawns and borders are reinstated with minimal disturbance.
What does architectural garden lighting involve?
A designed scheme using uplighting on trees and walls, recessed step and path lights, and low-level border lighting, all on low-voltage cabling.
Is the lighting energy efficient?
We use low-voltage LED fittings on timers or app control, so a full garden scheme draws very little power.
Do you carry out the electrical work?
Low-voltage installation is done by our team, and any mains supply or consumer unit work is completed and certified by a registered electrician.
When is the best time to install?
Ideally during a landscaping build, while the ground is open. We also retrofit both systems into finished gardens.
